# Managing Inventory Categories in ERS

## Accessing Category Setup
To begin, navigate to the inventory section and click the gear icon to access category settings.
## Category Naming
- **Name**: Used internally within the Control Panel.
- **Special Display Name**: This is the name shown to customers on your website.
- **Display to Customers**: Toggle this setting to control whether the category is visible to customers.
"Yes" means visible to customers, "No" means visible to no one, "Admin Only" means visible to staff only.

- You can select from default images or upload your own using the **Choose File** button.
