# Understanding Reports in ERS

ERS provides a comprehensive Reports section that helps you monitor and analyze various aspects of your business operations. This guide walks you through the key features and types of reports available in ERS.

## Accessing Reports
To begin, navigate to the **Reports** tab in the navigation header. The Reports dashboard displays four built-in charts offering a quick overview:

- **Best Selling Items (Last 2 Months):** A pie chart showing item popularity based on rental frequency.
- **Today's Payments by Type:** Displays payment methods used for the current day.
- **Monthly Sales Trends:** Tracks sales performance over time.
- **Employee Sales (Month-to-Date):** Breaks down sales volume by employee.

## Key Report Categories

### Payment Reports
- **Auto Pay Report:** View status of automatically charged payments, including approvals and failures.
- **ERS Payment Reconciliation:** Match ERSPay deposits with sales activity.
- **Payments Summary:** Overview of all collected payments.
- **Manage Payments:** Detailed payment info per order; manage customer payments.
- **Receivables Report:** Lists pending payments.
- **Credits and Rain Checks:** Tracks applied discounts and rain checks.

### Sales Reports
- **Sales Overview:** Monthly and yearly sales data including order counts, average ticket size, and merchandise.
- **Daily Sales:** Breakdown of sales by individual days.
- **Annual Growth:** Year-to-date comparison with previous year.
- **Tax Reports:** Includes Tax by City, Tax Collected by City, and Accrual Tax reports.

### Customer Reports
- **Surveys & Survey Answers:** Results and responses from automated customer surveys.
- **Messages Sent:** Tracks outgoing communications.
- **Digital Signatures & Waivers:** Lists collected customer signatures and waivers.
- **Signed/Unsigned Contract Orders:** Tracks contract status per order.

### ERSPay Reports
- **Reconciliation Report:** Matches deposits and debits to your bank account.
- **Payments List:** All transactions via ERSPay.
- **Not Funded List:** Payments received but not yet funded.
- **Funding Date Report:** Lists funded payments by deposit date.
