A “Sales” or “Sales Only” Schedule Profile allows customers to purchase items on your site without the “Scheduling” component of the ERS Software. There is no reason for customers to select a day and time on some purchases, such as gift cards, extra concession supplies, food items, etc. The following steps will walk you through creating this schedule profile if your folder does not already have one.
Important Note: Event Rental Systems can be used to manage your item inventory. By default, sales items are set NOT to deduct from inventory. This means that the quantity should be set to the maximum number someone could purchase in a single order. If you would like the quantity to deduct from the total number available, then change the setting under Admin>Order Config>Misc Order Settings:
To begin, you will want to create a blank price rule, which ensure no additional charges are added:

Navigate to Admin>Rules>Price Rule Sets.

Click “Add New”.

Enter in the name “Sales”.

Click “Submit” to save.
After creating your blank price rule, we will create the Schedule Profile:

Navigate to Admin>Products>Schedule Profiles.

Click “Add New”.

Enter in the name “Sales”.

Select your blank price rule from the “Price Rules” dropdown box.

Click “Submit” to commit your changes.
Now your Schedule Profile is complete and ready to be used! Assign your Schedule Profile to entire categories or individual items under Admin>Products.
