Event Rental Systems uses the terminology of “Going Live” to indicate when we begin hosting your website. When you make your website live, your existing site will no longer display.
Note: Some websites may even be erased, so you may want to ensure you have spoken with your previous Web Developer, if you would like a backup of your website.
If you do not have an existing website, or you purchase a new domain, we recommend going Live at any time. The sooner your website goes live it can start building Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
To go Live, we will need your domain name to plug into our system, which you can email to us. You can log into your domain registrar and change the DNS settings. You will need to set the A record @ to 146.20.25.155. Additionally, there should be a CNAME record with the value "www" that points to the "@".
