ERSMail

ERSMail is an email marketing system in your Event Rental Systems folder. It allows you to send emails to your entire customer base and send targeted emails based on filtering criteria. There are several filters available such as filtering by date ranges, rental options, CRM fields, and more! ERSMail pricing and how to sign up is located under Customers > ERSMail.

ERSMail is available under the “Customers” tab in the Control Panel:

If you are an existing ERSMail customer, you will immediately log in. Otherwise, you will see the following screen. Otherwise, click the blue button to begin with the currently offered free version:

Once you have entered ERSMail, you have options to start a new email list, see existing lists, or see your email activity.

Click the “New Email Broadcast” button to begin. You can name campaigns based on your filtering criteria to separate them.

After entering a Recipient List, you will see the following screen for editing and customizing your email list. We will walk you through the various sections below.

Section 1 - Filters

The highlight of ERSMail is the ability to filter customers using criteria gathered during your ordering process. Click the “edit filter” button to begin:

Click “+ add condition” to see the list of available filters:

You can apply multiple filters and select whether customers must match any of the criteria or all of the criteria to be targeted. Click “save” to commit your changes.

Section 2 - Contact List

By default, all of your contacts are selected. If you would like to email your entire customer base, then do not select any filters and click “compose and send email”. The “Contact List” area shows you who is being targeted with your campaign.

Click email addresses at the bottom to individually select, or deselect, them for managing your email campaign’s Contact List.

Section 3 - Compose and Send Email

Click the blue “compose and send email” button to create your email you would like to send. Emails are not saved for future use.

Email Templates are available, if you would like to save your email for future use. Email Templates for use within ERSMail are available under Admin>Documents>Email Templates for Marketing:

Once a template is created, simply select it from the dropdown box when composing and sending an email through ERSMail:
